The Malopolska School of Economics in Tarnow Research Papers Collection has been published since 1999. Initially, it was published irregularly, then as a biannual, and from the second half of 2015 it has appeared as a quarterly. The journal’s publisher is the Malopolska School of Economics in Tarnow (Pol. Małopolska Wyższa Szkoła Ekonomiczna w Tarnowie).

It is the editorial intention of the Research Papers to be a discussion forum enabling the presentation of research results and original concepts, exchange of views and reflections. We strive to present our readers with theoretical problems and practical solutions for broadly understood management and quality sciences, including problems of organizational management, organizational structures, process management, strategic and crisis management, risk management, human resources and intellectual capital management, management of projects, quality, information and communication, or logistics systems, production management, IT tools supporting management, ergonomic conditions of the work process, corporate governance issues, corporate social responsibility, ethical and cultural aspects of management.

The publishing profile of the journal also includes issues in the field of economics and finance, including micro- and macroeconomic problems, entrepreneurship, problems related to financial policy, financial instruments, capital markets, public finances, financial management of local governments and public institutions, finance and accounting of enterprises.

The journal is published in electronic and printed form—the electronic publication is the original version. The texts of all articles are posted on the website in open access (in pdf format). Until 2019, the issues of 1–3 of the quarterly were published in Polish, and issue 4 was published in English. Currently (starting from issue 2/2019), all papers are published in English, and the texts are accompanied by Polish titles, abstracts and keywords.

The Malopolska School of Economics in Tarnow Research Papers Collection  was co-financed in the first edition of the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education “Support for scientific journals” (application No. 424868, contract No. 137/WCN/2019/1 of 09.07.2019) and included in the “List of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences together with the assigned number of points” (Annex to the Communication of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 9.02.2021, item 29931, ID 200140). On this basis, the articles published in the Papers receive 20 points.

The journal is indexed in the databases RePEc, EconPapaers,  BazEkon, The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (CEJSH), Index Copernicus (ICV 2020: 97,38), ERIH PLUS, POL-index.

All articles published in the journal are available under the Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC-BY-NC-ND) 4.0 International License.

We invite academic staff and practitioners representing scientific institutions and centers from all over the country to cooperate with us. We would like to point out that the publication of articles is subject to positive editorial reviews. Reviews are carried out at the request of the publisher. The editorial office does not charge any submission or processing fees.
